Nature of Early Play | Playground Installation

Installation Required

Products that require installation and anchoring can be installed using one of two methods.

  • In-Ground: Designated products, such as playsets and products requiring more stability must be installed in-ground with concrete posts.
  • Surface-Mount: Most playsets and products requiring more stability can be surface mounted to solid surfaces (concrete, asphalt or wood) with appropriate brackets unless otherwise stated. Nature of Early Play offers brackets at an additional cost.
  • Stainless Steel Bracket Post Brackets: Intended for play sets with posts and decks.  Often only one bracket is required for most Infant & Preschool play sets.  If you tell us your subsurface, we will determine how many and what type of brackets are the minimum required and will provide a quote. Price includes hardware.
  • L Brackets: For units that are not designed as play surfaces, "L" brackets may suffice.  These are simple aluminum brackets at a fraction the cost of the Stainless Steel post brackets.

Assembly

When a Nature of Early Play product does not require a more permanent installation, the product is either delivered fully assembled or require a small amount of assembly.

Fully Assembled

Designated products are fully assembled when they arrive on site and do not require any installation or anchoring.

Assemble-in-Place

Most products in our catalog are built to be assembled in place. These items are sturdy enough to stand alone without permanent installation. Many assemble-in-place items can also be anchored to solid surfaces for security.

Customer Installations

Customer Installations are appropriate only when an experienced construction crew uses Nature of Early Play’s suggested installation instructions.
